Traveling Afghan Square 2
The Traveling Afghan is a project where 49 different designers from all over the world work together in making one cohesive afghan while telling you their stories. My square is number two and it represents a family portrait: My husband Calum, from England. Me, from Mexico. And our lovely daughter Magnolia, who was born in Bulgaria and who has filled our lives with sunshine. The square is made bottom up. It has a garter stitch border and the inside is divided by three sections: stockinette, reverse stockinette and lace.
