Mozaika Gunes
Mozaika means “mosaic” in Bulgarian. Gunes is the word for “sun” in Turkish. Given that the inspiration behind this design is a tiled wall in a Hammam, or turkish bath, it just feels fitting to name it Sun Mosaic. A garment to decorate yourself with the sun. It’s a loose summer top that can be cropped or tunic length. It features a high neck at the front and a low neckline at the back. The line in the middle centers the piece over your body and there is an easy mosaic colorwork that decorates the body. #MozaikaGunesTop

YARN: Fingering yarn (size 1) (XS) 330 m of MC, 170 m of CA, 135 m of CB, (S) 370 m of MC, 190 m of CA, 150 m of CB, (M) 410 m of MC, 210 m of CA, 170 m of CB, (L) 450 m of MC, 230 m of CA, 185 m of CB, (XL) 490 m of MC, 250 m of CA, 200 m of CB, (2XL) 530 m of MC, 270 m of CA, 220 m of CB, (3XL) 575 m of MC, 290 m of CA, 235 m of CB, (4XL) 615 m of MC, 310 m of CA, 255 m of CB, (5XL) 655 m of MC, 330 m of CA, 270 m of CB. Amounts are approximate for a semi-cropped top with short sleeves.
Sample used Expression Fiber Arts CashSilk Sock, 75% Superwash Wool, 15% Cashmere, 10% silk, in Colors MC) Wheatfield, A) Moon (white) and B) Island (blue).
HOOKS: 4.5 mm and 4 mm or sizes needed to meet gauges.
NOTIONS: tapestry needle, a scrap piece of yarn as marker and 2 other stitch markers.

Sizes + Measurements
This pattern comes in 9 different sizes. The following are the finished garment measurements. Around Bust: 80, (90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160) cm / 31.5 (35.5, 39.5, 43.5, 47.25, 51.25, 55, 59, 63)‘ to be worn with 0 - 8 cm (0-3’) of positive ease.
Sample (beige MC with white and blue colorwork) is size Large and model measures 100 cm around bust.
Body length can be lengthened or shortened to taste.
