Materials

  • YARN: Approximately 100 - 190 m of fingering yarn (size 1) - Sample used Drops Nord, 45% Alpaca, 30% Polyamide, 25% Wool.

    • You can also use sport or even DK yarn if you want a thicker beanie.

    • *For baby/toddler beanies, it’s recommended to use sport or fingering yarn.

  • HOOKS: 4 mm (like the sample) or size to achieve the desired thickness of fabric and 1 mm smaller for the ribbing.

  • NOTIONS: tapestry needle and measuring tape (optional)
