Ferweh Tank

£7.00

Originally released in Colorful Crochet Knitwear by Sandra Gutierrez: Fernweh (German) – refers to an ache for distant places, a homesickness for traveling.

I love this word since I am most familiar with its meaning. The Fernweh Top is a reminder of those faraway places yet to explore, a ladder to something new and different; but also serving as a bridge between our homes and hearts to those adventures that await the wearer. This top is worked bottom-up in two separate identical panels, which are later joined at the shoulder straps and sides of the body. Both panels sport a mosaic motif throughout. The colorful edging brightens an otherwise monochrome background.
