This pattern comes in 2 different styles in adult size.
The beanie is worked following a color chart. It might be a challenging project for beginners due to the technique used, but it's easy to figure out and it would be a great opportunity to learn a new technique!

Level - Easy
YARN: Approx 168 m (183 yards) of fingering yarn in MC and 100 m (120 yards) of fingering yarn in CC (size 2).
Samples used Drops Alpaca, 100% Alpaca.
HOOKS: 4 mm; 4.5 mm or 5 mm hook; and a 3 mm hook for the edge.
NOTIONS: tapestry needle.
Gauge will vary depending on the preferred style: 19 sc sts x 23 rows (slouchy) or 21 sc sts x 27 rows (basic) = 4 inches x 4 inches
