Jayus Cardigan

Let’s have a laugh!

Here’s an easy and a pretty one!

But let’s not skip these important links!

Colorful Crochet Knitwear is to be released on April 12th, 2022 and you can preorder NOW here:

Jayus (Indonesian) – a joke so poorly told and so unfunny that one cannot help but laugh.

Jayus embraces the spirit of unlikely matches; the different size color blocks and stripes make a striking effect that keeps the maker and the wearer interested. It is a raglan style pullover with a high-low split hem, sporting large color blocks in the body and stripes along the sleeves. It is made top-down completely seamlessly and finished off with a ribbed button band.

The raglan shaping and the easy stitches make this a beginner-friendly project. And for those of you who are still a bit insecure when it comes to playing with color, stripes and color blocking are the perfect intro to colorwork!

Sizes + Measurement

All of the garment patterns in the book come in 9 sizes.

These are the actual garment measurements. Choose size based on body measurements and desired ease.

Designed with 2–3in (5–8cm) of positive ease.

Bust:

31¼ (35, 39, 43, 47¼) (51¼, 54¾, 59, 64) in / 79 (89, 99, 109, 120) (130, 139, 150, 162) cm

Complete schematics in the book include more points of measurement, but when it comes to choosing a size, bust measurements are the most important in a straight pullover like this one.
