Commuovere Pullover
Let me tell you a story
Color tells a million stories. That’s why I love colorful clothes so much, especially when I made them and took the time to choose colors that speak to me and about me. Commuovere is not the exception.
But before I forget, here are some important links!
Colorful Crochet Knitwear is to be released on April 12th, 2022 and you can preorder NOW here:

Commuovere (Italian) – to be moved in a heartwarming way, usually relating to a story that moved you to tears.
Commuovere is a romantic garment, one that tells a story of life and love. A striking piece with tapestry motifs that evoke true emotions, it is worked top-down, mostly in rounds. Starting with a ribbed neckline, the yoke sports short rows at the back of the neck for a perfect fit. The whole garment is worked in central single crochet (waistcoat stitch) for a knitted look. After working the yoke, the body is separated from the sleeves and finished with another colorwork motif and a ribbed hem. The sleeves are then worked in the armhole openings in one main color and finished off with a ribbed cuff.
With Commuovere, I wanted to create a striking, yet wearable garment. Something that you could just throw on everyday and be comfortable in, while telling of yourself via the colors and your ability to crochet.
The colors were easy to decide on for this one. The yellow is so intense, but paired up with the blue and brown, it kind of mellows down - while still making me smile!
Sizes + Measurement
All of the garment patterns in the book come in 9 sizes.
These are the actual garment measurements. Choose size based on body measurements and desired ease.
Designed with 2–4in (5–10cm) of positive ease.
Bust: 32½ (35.5, 39, 42, 45 3/8) (52, 55, 58¼, 64¾) in / 82.5 (90.5, 99, 107, 115) (132, 140, 148, 164.5) cm
Body length is adjustable to desired length.
Complete schematics in the book include more points of measurement, but when it comes to choosing a size, bust measurements are the most important in a straight pullover like this one.
